Elegant Tim's Fascinator
Last summer, I was asked to speak at a young girl's camp called P.I.NK. (Pretty Intelligent Natural & Kind) that emphasizes inner beauty and just being yourself.

One particularly great activity that the girls did was making a fascinator (this was of course in the height of the hype of the Royal wedding). To impress the teens (and my teacher/counsellor peers), I decided to create a fascinator using a Tim's cup as the center piece! And VOILA the result !!

And it was a great hit!

I was glad to be a part of this camp, where girls are allowed to be themselves, are valued and reminded of the importance of their inner beauty. And to be honest, I was glad to be able to be myself too and make such a creative fashion statement!



ps. For the record, I do still have my fascinator at home. I even wore it to church (for half a second) to show the members of the church my husband pastors. And it was a hit there too!
